NETGEAR FVS318v2/FVS318v1 Cable/DSL ProSafe VPN Firewall Router Firmware 2.4. A Smart Wizard Configuration Assistant has been added to help guide you in the initial configuration of the router and connection to the Internet. To use the Configuration Assistant, the router must be in the default manufacturing state. You can reset the router to the default state in two ways: (1) press and hold the reset button on the rear of the router for more than 10 seconds; or (2) click Erase in the router's Backup Settings menu. Modifications and Bug Fixes: Improved Oray DDNS client. Attached Devices page now displays DHCP client devices. Fixed: Can't access sites whose IP address ends with 255. "HELO ROUTER SYSTEM" is now "HELO ROUTER_SYSTEM". Can now authenticate with ISP using chars "/" or "%" or ";", others. Fixed DHCP server bug. Fixed RIP table update bug. Fixed Reboot function in Diagnostics menu. Fixed VPN manual key wonĄŻt accept A-F characters. Added more info to WAN Status menu. Changed default SA lifetime. Fixed bug to allow forwarding of UDP port 500. Perfect Forward Secrecy (PFS) now disabled by default. When UDP sent with disabled checksum, leave disabled.
